About ResumeCommand

An AI-powered career platform that tailors your resume to any job posting — in minutes, not hours.

What ResumeCommand does

ResumeCommand is an AI-powered resume tailoring platform. Job seekers paste a job posting URL and the app automatically extracts the role requirements, maps them against the user's career history, and produces a focused, role-specific resume — ready to export as a PDF in under 10 minutes.

The core workflow has three steps:

  1. Import a master resume. Users upload their full career history once. The app builds a structured career model they own and control.
  2. Paste a job URL. ResumeCommand extracts requirements, hard skills, seniority signals, and responsibilities from the posting automatically.
  3. Receive a tailored resume. The AI surfaces only the experience and skills that match what the employer is looking for, and exports a polished, ATS-friendly PDF.

Additional features include a match score, a one-click cover letter generator, multiple PDF templates, and an application tracker.

How we use your social login

ResumeCommand offers Sign in with Google, LinkedIn, and GitHub as convenient authentication options. These are the only integrations with those services.

  • openid — confirms your identity through Google's authentication system.
  • email — used as your account identifier and to send transactional emails (email verification, password resets, export confirmations).
  • profile — your name and profile picture are pre-filled when your account is created, saving you setup time.

LinkedIn — scopes requested

  • openid — confirms your identity through LinkedIn's authentication system.
  • email — used as your account identifier, same purpose as above.
  • profile — your name and profile picture are pre-filled at account creation.

We do not access your Google Drive, Gmail, Google Calendar, LinkedIn messages or connections, GitHub repositories, or any other data beyond what is listed above. We do not read, write, or store any content from these platforms.

How your data is used and protected

Your social profile data is used solely to create and maintain your ResumeCommand account. It is never sold, rented, or shared with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.

Your resume content — job history, skills, achievements — is stored securely and used only to power the tailoring features you explicitly trigger. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from the account settings page. For full details on data handling, retention, and your rights, see our Privacy Policy.
